Protect your key phrase securely

Dex Phraselock adds an extra layer of security to your wallet by letting you set a passcode using only the first 11 words of your seed phrase. It also scans your phrase locally to detect leaks, exposure risks, or blacklist issues such as money laundering

Security Warning: Never paste your full 12 words real recovery phrase on any website. This tool validates phrase format and checks against known compromised phrases.

The Problem

  • Seed phrases leaked in phishing lists, public repos, paste sites, and bot dumps keep circulating.
  • Many users unknowingly reuse predictable phrases or common word permutations.
  • Typical 'checkers' upload your phrase to a server, creating new risk.

Our Solution

  • Add passcode to your seed phrase by just using the first 11 words. This means anytime you launch your seed phrase in a wallet, it asks you for your passcode.
  • scan your phrase locally against exposed, leaked, security risk, or if your phrase is blacklisted for money laundering.

How the Secure Checker Works

Your security is our priority. Here's exactly how we protect your sensitive information.

1

Normalize

Your 11 words are processed locally in your browser — converted to lowercase, trimmed of extra spaces, and validated.

2

Hash

A one‑way SHA‑256 hash of the normalized phrase is computed in‑browser. No data leaves your device.

3

Compare

The hash is matched against our local in‑memory bloom filter/hash set. No network call with your input.

4

Result

Get instant results with option to store verified phrases securely for future access.

Zero‑Knowledge Design: By default, nothing leaves your device. Optional secure storage uses client-side encryption with your personal passcode.
